Personally I think a gold putter that only a mythical few have, and some silly quest to get one belong at the candy crush stype shop, and it's only derogatory to a serious gold site - being polite.

    LOL, Freudian slip?

I tried to play a clash round this morning. My two(2) options were to buy & use a pass or quit. So, I guess this really is a money grab by the WGT admin. This is a very sad situation.

And another thing - when I'm on hole #9 of an 18 hole Bracket, I don't want to be told to go to my club hompage and play a clash;  I'd prefer to continue the round I've actually chosen to play thank you!

There are so so so many things wrong with this CC CC clash but my main 4 complaints are:

    1. Why, as a CC owner, have I no control over whether my CC takes part or not? This is totally disrespectful to CC owners.

    2. The biggest clubs with the most members and the most passes will always win. Its purely a test of golfing quantity, and nothing to do with golfing quality.

    3. Despite pages and pages of good suggestions after the first fiasco, WGT have not responded to most of the concerns and have pushed ahead regardless.

    4. Why should a select few gain access to special equipment? If the best players are winning the prizes it just cements their dominance and makes it pointless to play many formats (like RGs).

I expect this will turn into another 100-page rant and, just like the last one, it will be totally ignored by WGT.

I used it Metaphorically and loosely and tongue in cheek only way.  Thought that was obvious, but lets not do a discussion on it.

Sorry I didn't realise, my mistake for missing the obvious, it didn't matter though this is still my main objection.

I did ask on another thread how many shots folk think it may be worth FarFoo posted:

10.14.14     Cabo del Sol Full 18 Ready Go     Full 18     All Players     51
10.16.14     Cabo del Sol Full 18 Ready Go     Full 18     All Players     52

Not at all scientific I know, I tried to expand it and his scores continued 54, 54, 53, 53, 55, 53 and 54 until that tournament ended.

Overall an average of 55.75 pre putter and 53.22 after getting it.

There are obviously other factors; getting used to a tournament may be partly responsible for scores dropping but I would also expect him to get a little better with the putter as he gets used to it.

This all looks like a copy/paste from the original thread.  We are still advising(not ordering) our members not to by passes while there is minimal value for the 37 creds.

The CC v CC matches are still a meaningless side event to the big leaderboard of pass buyers.

The fact the WGT still thinks that this event is fair is past comical now.

Not sure where Shoe is seeing all this positive feedback he refers to.  Is there another wgt forum I'm unaware of?

    It's laughable

If Shoe comes here now, whatever he says, then he is a fool.

Well unlike the first Clash CC owners and players know what it's about, so have the option to opt out, not spend money on cc pass and waste balls or be seen as 'supporting wgt lunacy' by do just that. If you really want to be known and go down as 'champs' of the 'Golden Fleece CC Clash Cash Grad Event' well more power to you.

If you're not bright enough to understand that you're not really supporting anything but rather just validating in their eyes, their abject stupidity and crassness in throwing this garbage at you, well there's no hope for you, or this place really because what you're really telling them is; "Hey it's okay, leave the game a broken mess, take my money and feed me sh*t"  - More or less, and that's what you'll get.

As players who played in this farce, you have zero right now to complain about anything wrong or broken in the game, you have zero credibility in any negative criticism you bring up, in fact your opinions mean zero now - Well to the population of players who have a spine and actually understand what goes on, why it's wrong.

I think WGT should automatically put a little wgt in front of all your names, it should be required and something you can't remove - sort of like a tag whereby when we see it we know, and there can be no doubt, that you are a wgt drone. so that we can act accordingly when playing and chatting with you, if that happens.

I mean I guess the best part of this round is that we, who chose not to run around the hamster wheel this time around, can sit back and laugh our asses off at those who are mindlessly spinning around in circles fighting for something as idiotic as a garden gnome and an ugly-ass golden putter.

Do you not see the fu*kin' irony in the fact that the gnomes are wearing 'Dunce Caps' ?? No?? Cuz.... well..... ya, never mind..... LoL

Ah well whatever, gnomes.... hahahaha... too funny !
