    WGTdbloshoe:

    TheDuckinator:

    How about something like this:

    1) Give the club owner the ability to enter his club in a clash.

    2) Other clubs would be able to see all the clubs that have entered.

    3) If you see a club (or clubs) you would like to play against, you could challenge them.

    4) Give an option of how many players will be able to play from each team. IE: 10 - 20 - 30 - ect ect... Each player could only play 1 time.

    5) Give a start time and a duration time. IE: Starts at 8pm (WGT Time) , Duration 6 Hours.

Didn't see this to just now.

    4.  Personally I like the idea of top 50 scores of a club or some specific number.  That way a player who has a bad hole doesn't feel like they are excluded.  They can playa gain if they wish to try and get a better score.

Also I have not been avoiding the thread, just been doing some testing.

    - WGTdbloshoe

If you go with the top 50 scores, you are still going to eliminate the smaller clubs unless a player can post multiple scores. I really think WGT should re-think this whole thing and come up with a way clubs can start their own "mini-clash" against a team or teams of their choice. Come up with an option to replace the way CC's currently do CC v CC tournaments. That's what clubs want... A real competition...

Already put it another thread but it's just too good so:)

Why not have a Golden Putter Gnome Auction once a month?

Same level of golf skill, and same event actually apart from be a bit quicker and have a more more accurate event title, and those that give a crap still get a WGT Gnome / chance of the Gold Putter.

OK I would prefer the putter out of the game, but trying to be pragmatic:)

    Benefits would be huge:

WGT would have time to change a huge habit, and do something useful towards a real competition (s).  Also of course anyone that wants to play can still play whatever they want as much as they want in the mean time:).

    Win win !!

Just a question.  Lets say I win one of those Gold Putters (fat chance of that....lol)....

Would I be able to sell it back and get a bucket load of credits?  Which of course will be split up within the CC

Roger, my mate, promise me that if you will win one day a gold putter, you will remember me with a sleeve of Nike balls, just as gift for reach near something like 200,000cr, pretty sure this is the selling price. Spank off the WGT buttocks, that could be brilliant.

Should we need the intent of Andyson or Paul, I got the idea: * 007 - Mission Goldputter *

No, Roger.  Poldimaier bought one and said he couldn't resell it back to the pro shop.

The price is 400,000 cr. and it isn't "magic" in any way shape or form like some folks around here think .

No-a member of our club actually bought the Gold Putter 400,000 credits-you cannot sell it. Once you have it--you own it for life. Plus-someone earlier posted this would give a player a real advantage? According to one who has played it, not worth crap for use in play.

    That is very funny.....lol

Thx for the replies to my previous question.   Yes, I have heard the Putter is nothing special. Looking at the specs, you might think otherwise....lol

You know that feeling you get when someone is standing behind you or staring at you. Well, I went to tee off this morning and as I was addressing the ball I got that feeling. Then I looked around and there they were. GNNOOMMEES!!!!  I tried to ignore them and concentrate on my shot, but they started badgering me with insults and nasty comments! One even made a sexually explicit remark about my mother! When I told him to shut the $&^% up, the little monster ran over and bit me on the leg! Next thing you know they were both on me. Biting, punching, cursing and poking their stubby little fingers in my eyes. I finally managed to knock the ball down the fairway far enough to get away from them. I felt lucky to get away with my life!

I'm glad that's over, I thought to myself. But to my horror it wasn't! I had to endure this assault 8 more FRIGGING TIMES!!!!  When I got home I found that I have just enough room in my golf bag to put my Smith and Wesson 44 magnum pistol. I will be on the course again bright and early in the morning. Go ahead Gnome.......MAKE MY DAY!!!!!
