I marked for Westhamchris. We both struggled with the wind and slow greens. No luck at all today.

                                          Friday 25th of February

Considering the challenging conditions the leaders of the tournament have set a blistering pace for the rest of the field !  There's plenty of surprises at the top of the leaderboard with the Italian players dominating the top three positions in frealzu and followed closely by briobrio & Antuniccu !

It must be said that we were a little disappointed with the amount of players participating but the small field still provides plenty of exciting action and the final round is set for another close finish.

Here is the top of the leaderboard after round 2 -

    View the Full Leaderboard  HERE

    THE CUT LINE -

    • Total number of Players entered:     57
    • Total of Players made the cut:           43
    • Total of Players did not finished:        5

The cut line's been set according to the 10 shot rules at -2.  The first round saw tough scoring condition but everyone made up with many low rounds in round 2 !

NEW RULE FOR PLAYERS ACTING AS MARKERS -

To avoid further similar problems mentioned above, Lou & I would like to introduce a new rule regarding the marker system and it's effective immediately as of today -

"A player can not act as a marker in a round unless he has completed his own game in that round.  There are no exception to this rule and any players who does not follow this rule is immediately disqualified from the tournament & possibly the entire Tour."

    FINAL ROUND PAIRINGS

Again I'd like to point out that It's very important that all players must strictly adhered to the assigned pairing above and should only proceed to play with a marker if their partner can not be contacted by Sunday morning.  Should anyone have a problems or any issues they can PM myself or Lou.

    COURSE SET UP

    • Kiawah full 18  [Champion Tees, Medium Wind, Very fast Greens]

    DEADLINE

    • Before midnight (EST) Sun 27th of February

    PLAYOFF FORMAT

A 4 holes playoff will apply for players taking part in the playoff, starting at the 10th Hole with the same course and conditions as the final round.  If the scores is still even after the 13th hole then the sudden death format will apply from the very next hole and to be continued if necessary until there's a clear winner.

Good luck everyone, play your best game and gain a share of the large pool of WGA Points available, remember it's 3 times the regular tournament !

Hey, Coolswing I have a short period of time to play my round. My girlfriend's sister is getting married tomorrow and were leaving this afternoon and I won't know when I will be back so I will have to play with a marker or play late Sunday night

    R3 for Jimbean346 & Daskino

Some super stuff by both players and had it not been for a pesky mole who kept building mountains on the front lip of the cup, both players would've gone lower. Pretty certain it'll take a sub-60 to take this one home. My thanks to Luciano - as ever a real gentleman and super company throughout; on more than one occasion, we pulled each out of a mini-slump:
