Still looking for the right CC !!

  Although I am a member of a CC, I am still looking for a CC that fits my needs.

  What is that you may ask ?

  I am looking for a socialble CC which is active, i.e has a busy club forum, a good selection of tourneys to play in the quiet moments etc.I am quite happy to play reasonable priced premium tourneys as well as free tourneys.

  I would rather not be in a CC which is top heavy with Tour Legends, been there and done that !! I don't mind playing with T/L's, but unless tourneys are tier specific they are liable to dominate the tourneys.

  I am quite happy to consider a CC with a small membership, as long as it fulfills the above criteria.

  Use of Skype or similar is a big plus for me, its nice to chat during games, I find it adds to the fun of games etc

  So is such a CC out there ??

  Hi Rich,

  I would like you to take a look at Just 4 Fun -  the Survivors Country Club.

  We are a 58 member club and growing having added 30 members in the last month.

  We have our own off-site forum with chat box for the members, and many of us do use Skype.

  We have a good mix of players (in my opinion). Although the members are very competitive, we pride ourselves on nurturing newer players and the friendships we make with our fellow  club members. All our weekly and monthly tournaments are free, we play for the joy of the game not for credits.

   I think that my club still has a few openings . We are a small club 50 players but active . We have 4-7 tourneys going on at any given time , some free and some play for credits . Club also has skype for those who wish to use it . American GOLF ACADEMY & SKYPE CLUB . So check it out , you may find it to be the right fit for you , it keeps me busy enough with play all the time . Good luck and hope to see you in the club .

  Not sure how our club didn't fit your needs Rich apart from Skype maybe, perhaps the correct thing was to let me know if there were things that you weren't happy with, but such is life.

  Good luck with your search, i'm sure there is a club which suits your needs.

  Was not going to reply until you were unattached, and i now see you are. I run an advert on this forum, think its still on first page as only  recently bumped it. Clubbanditos. Good luck wherever you choose though.

  I really appreciate all the replies to this post, just goes to show that it works posting in here when you are looking for a new CC.

  I sifted through all the replies in here and have found a new CC, I have a good feeling about this new club and I'm sure it will work out well

  A good thing for anyone looking is to click on a member of a club then you will find someone who plays club comps, click on and then see for yourself how many enter the tournies. I have done that with the "big clubs" and seen some startling results. Anyway good luck at your new club, i actually think Affos club has decent participation, but each to their own.

  Hey Rich,

  I think we are a great fit for you, The Soaring Eagles.  We are somewhat new but at the same time offer alot to our members.  We have daily events to participate in.  We have a Wed night alt shot event and Sat morning match play !   We are talking about Skype and having you as an advocate would be helpful !
