I am on hole #7 on the best of par 5 tournament. I go to shoot, and my avatar is turned backwards. So, I shoot thinking it will go the right way because often times I get the wrong diagram and it works.  So, I shoot and not only does it go out of bounds, but it cost me two strokes, and a Nike 20XI ball!

Why is it that whenever I start to shoot a decent game the system starts screwing up? It's as if wgt has the game rigged to keep me down. Once in  great wile I get to shoot  good game; just enough to keep me coming "back to the table." If I wanted to play rigged games, I would go to Vegas!  BTW I have spent a lot of my hard earned money on here. Maybe I don't spend a thousand a month, but a 1 to 2 hundred is a thousand to me.

    Pissed,

"It's as if wgt has the game rigged to keep me down"   I hope you are right, maybe they will leave the rest of us in peace now they have you to concentrate on.

"I am on hole #7 on the best of par 5 tournament. I go to shoot, and my avatar is turned backwards." Try aiming at the hole,I find that helps.

If my avatar is facing the wrong way , I would take that as a sign.

I would reaim and look at where my ball is aiming at.

sounds like you had a bad mouse moving there.

What in the world are you spending 1-2 hundred dollars a month on?

That is a "game settings" issue , Not something WGT did...easily fixed.  Game settings>Advanced>Avatar angles>Read both options.

                                                                                                                    Ace

    Hi Ace,

How is that a game settings issue? I have played 477 rounds on this game and this is the first time this has happened. I have also had St. Andrews diagrams come up while playing on Merion...I just hit the reverse angle and adjusted accordingly and drove the ball; everything worked fine. In this case however it didn't work. Anyway, thanks for at least giving me an intelligent answer; more than I can say for the rest of the players that replied to this post.

Sometimes, on BP #8 (Par 3), if you miss green to the left, there will be no marker on the hole. It will be back on the Tee box, and the avatar will be facing that way. I don't hit my shot thinking it will go anywhere but towards that marker's general direction. Why would you even hit the shot facing backwards?
