This a thread where owners/officers can by adding the name of their club publicly announce if they're not happy with the CC vs CC Event and do not wish to participate in any future clashes until it improves.

In my club we have come to a unanimous decision and players have been briefed that my club will no longer be participating and are happy with the reasons provided.

If you're unaware of the issues that have caused much anger and frustration among the WGT community you can visit these links for more information.

    CC vs CC Event 1

    CC vs CC Event 2

Some clubs are happy to continue participating regardless while others are not. Let's respect each others decisions.

Please refrain from commenting on the situation here, if you wish to do so you can add your comment to the relevant thread as linked above. This thread is to list those clubs that are boycotting this event until further notice (change).

    Bridgestone.

I feel obliged to point out here though that no player is precluded at all, but as a club finishing 1023rd shows what we think of the farce.

    roozilla:
,i still think they cheated in second.one of their members played oakmont  60 times in 4 hrs.

See math is not a strong point in your CC.

Let's hope the members are @ least getting the correct info elsewhere !

Upton Manor are officially avoiding these events until there are some radical changes.

However, there are always some members who don't seem to get the message and unfortunately we were entered in the second one.

Its virtually impossible to stop being entered under the current rules, but any participation by Upton Manor will be minimal.

You can add UKGE to this list too.

Southern England Links members are told that the club is not promoting the event and to save their credits for balls and equipment, but like Ryja commented, events can be started so easily by a member, that a full boycott would be tricky to enforce.

SEL v Wooden Tee??? very similar size clubs, lmao.

How we did in either event? I have no clue.

This is NO COMPETITION, All this is who ever has the biggest country club and what ever club buys their win wins a Golden putter which will give certain players a better chance of continuing winning ready go's and such and also GNOMES which are a total waste of effort.  I have never seen such bad ideas in a game, pure $$ orientated, Why not have a golden putter auction because there is no skill in these clashes.  Players win golf matches by scoring the lowest, NOT BUYING A WIN.

The Cheaters Assassin country club will not go near these clashes.

But, if ANCC would like to donate 1000 passes to cheaters assassin CC i would gladly play St Andrews over and over until i A) go insane or B) rant in forums about this 5hit idea
