Want a driving range - ?? Well heres how you can make your own.
This enables you to practice hitting the sweet spot on the swing meter. Thats all - but it is the key to hitting a straight ball, and getting max distance.
Its real easy, and I use it quite regularly to tune up and try to get the hang of those new clubs.
So - heres how.
1 - Get yourself into practice mode. Kiawah Island at this point in time.
2 - On the tee - Choose your club - the driver is the easiest from the tee.
3 - Move your target aim off the fairway into some out of bounds area, or similar. You can even hit the shot behind you if you wish. Just move the target marker there.
4 - Take your shot. If you use your driver the ball will probably go out of bounds, and you will see the "lost ball" dialogue box, and incur 1 shot penalty. (no matter you are in practice mode - your max number of shots per hole I think is around 10 - and it does not count against your rating)
5 - Next - naturally you come right back to the same tee. Select your driver again , move the target aim, and hit it again. Out of bounds - and on, and on, and on you go.
6 - After you've hit 10 shots you will move to the next hole, where you do the exact same thing again.
Simple eh ?? The par 3's are the easiest because you can go out of bounds dead easy using any number of clubs.
If you simply hit that driver down the fairway, when it comes to your second shot - simply choose the driver again. It wont go very far (no matter), but you can still get use to the speed of the swing meter and you can practice trying to hit that sweet spot - again after 10 shots you move to the next hole etc etc etc.
So - stop complaining about having no driving range - there are ways around these issues. All you have to do is think !!

Cya on the driving range.

PS You may come unstuck ocassionally and find yourself in deep, deep rough - no matter. Just keep selecting that driver or whatever and get the practice.
