  It strikes me that this issue started when they tried to do a fix for tournaments closing but not settling. Instead of finding the cause of the problem and fixing that, they seem to just periodically check if a closed tournament has settled. If it hasn't they attempt a resettle. So when this fails multiple times (which it of course will because the problem has not been properly addressed), we get these messages over and over every time the settlement is attempted.

  Please WGT, find the actual cause of the settlement issue and fix it rather than using this half-baked non-solution.
