    Reached L96 a couple of weeks ago and have found the Bertha driver to be AMAZING. Far more accurate than the SLDR (the occasional foul ball the SLDR was known for is not there with the Bertha) and MUCH longer.

    I wont be reaching L98 for a while, but in case WGT brings back the L93 R11, how much better, if any, is the R1 compared to the Bertha? If it is better, it is most certainly an AMAZING driver

    I have the white R-1 and I've rented the Bertha in the past. I seen no real discernable difference between the two.

    I have both.  I would not say either is better, just different.

    I likewise had the SLDR and just loved it. I have the Bertha and love it even more. I'm almost at L-99 and could have bought  the R1-98 long ago, but the desire to never showed up. The L-100 ? I doubt that too...we'll see  ;-}

    I have both the BB and R1 wht and if the BB hits into a frontwind, I can add TS because of its high traj. and get the distance.

    I have the black R1, purchased when hey had a special offer going, way before I reached level 98. I figured it would be my last driver. But after purchasing the level 89 BB 3W and finding it to be the most awesome 3W on here, I decided to give the level 96 BB driver a chance. At first I hated it, and went back to the R1. But after learning it I am using it now, the high angle with backspin let's me cut some corners and still stop in the fairway. I still got the R1 on standby, just in case. When I reach level 100 I can't say I won't try the Nike, we'll see when the time comes.

    I have the L93+ R1, Black Special Edition and the L96+ BB Alpha and agree that they are  essentially the same save the trajectory.

    I do find the BB Alpha to be less effective into a straight on head wind than the R1, even with some top spin dialed in on the ball.
