    ApexPC:
If you buy credits - $1 will buy you 100 credits, so credits do indeed have an equivalent (=) cash value.

    Nope.

For any money, you buy only the license to use this internal exchange device.

    From the T&Cs:

By purchasing or obtaining WGT Credits, WGT is granting you a limited license right to you to utilize certain features of our product and service offering as allowed by WGT. WGT Credits do not have monetary or stored value or any credit balance of real currency or its equivalent and are not redeemable for money at any time.

The $$ => cr exchange rate is irreversible, otherwise they'd have to give you 100 $ for 10,000 cr. Do they? No.

At their discretion, some (but not all) users may receive real value back, but at a much lower rate, see the gift cards.

To me, the 100:1 display of career earnings in $$ appears plain wrong.

In the VT final thread, fmagnets made a big difference between winning real $$ at the Florida event and receiving a pile of credits in the current setting, worth only a few gift cards. This is the realistic view on this subject.

Since joining in Jul 2010 I have amassed a whopping, staggering $10.60 in career earnings. This has been bonuses from a newbie hack to a Legend. A few cents thrown in from CC tourneys. I have spent well over $2,000.00 of my real money mostly gifting, not on myself. WGT does not owe us a thing for playing, this is a for profit business. Those of us who stay here, love the game, know this without a doubt. If you are looking for a big bonus, talk to your boss at your particular employment, otherwise wish in one hand and $hit in the other. See which one fills up first.  Just my say on this subject.

Excuse me, you did not. Look into your account: You received some amount of software license called credits, and they are wrongly displayed as $$.

No I'm not. I just don't accept this misleading display which leaves the impression of a big bonus until - perhaps - I receive a proper explanation, hopefully before the 12th of Never.

But hope is futile here, I know.
