A while back Glenmorangie did a survey of the most beautiful golf holes in the world.  This would be a huge hit here, and should be feasible to do.  If you got Glenmorangie to sponsor it, and put their brand name on all the flags for instance, you could finance it, as it ties into their advertising for their brand.  You could more easily get these courses to let you photograph a single hole on their course than letting you do the whole course, just as it seems to be easier to get courses to do a CTTH.  What better advertising for a course than to have one of its holes on this list?  Can't imagine that would be difficult to get them to sign onto.  Its a great idea, and one that the sponsors/ courses would be fools not to want to be a part of.

Thanks Icon.  You know those parties better than I do!  I will be thrilled if it ever happens, and I guarantee it would be one of the most played courses.

The chances are likely somewhere between nil and none.

A use license would have to be negotiated with each course WGT does not already have use licensing agreements with, and some of the golf courses likely already have exclusive use licensing agreements with some other company.

For example. Augusta National, home of the Master's major golf tournament, has an exclusive use licensing agreement with EA Sports. So as long as that exclusive use license is in effect WGT can't photograph any of Augusta Nationals holes to use here on WGT.

... and they are further reduced by the additional costs to visit ten or more courses
for one 18 hole course, compared to one travel for a genuine course.

I doubt that any company would sponsor WGT in doing so.

The exclusive agreement that  EA Sports has with PGA Tour  includes all of the TCP courses.

IIRC the PGA Tour does not own all of the TPC courses.

Apparently Heritage Golf Group owns at least 5 of the TPC courses.

Yes. I almost mentioned that logistical stumbling block aspect also.

Apparently WGT had an agreement with the Royal and Ancient for a time and we got St. Andrews and St. George's. However it is also apparent that agreement ended since we have gotten no more British Open venues.

Perhaps after we get Pebble Beach, there would be plenty of holes on the courses we already have to put together a "Most Beautiful" 18 hole course.  Maybe we could even have people vote on it.
