I've just noticed this.  In the CC Forum.  I can edit all the posts that anybody writes in there.

I presume it's not only me.  Just wondering if this is a good thing to have....lol

It would be just you as Club Owner Mantis.
It is one of the very few options an owner has in the forums along with Delete.

Members would only be able to edit their own post...  and i think that has a life span too.

This is correct.   Just asked a couple of other cc members and they don't have it.

    Thx Shrude

Just thinking what damage I can do if I decide to edit reply's....lol.   Well that's not going to happen.

Has it's good points I suppose, but having that power in the hands of the wrong person, it will be very dangerous.

I edit them from time to time.

Could be due to a bad joke and i will tone down the words a bit for the ladies in the club.

Someone who posted 2 or 3 times duplicate - delete.

Or a Club Tourney OP created by another member that needs tidying up - adding paragraphs, speeling mostakes, graphics etc.

Deleting who threads from past members or members that have an issue, made a single post and left the club.

Be aware AFAIK, that any thread that a past member has created or replied in, they still receive notifications in their email, with thread text after they have left the club.
Knowing that...  is fun at times ... bah har har harrrrr  ;)
