Today I was playing the Best of Par 5 and on hole 17, for my second shot, I lined up right of bunkers with a 13-15 mph tail wind that was also blowing left to right across the fairway.  Hit the ball with a "ding" and it still goes left and into the bunker.  And it wasn't that it hit the fairway and then started going left, it was headed left from the moment it left the ground.

    Why?

This isn't the first time I've noticed this.  Sometimes shots just defy both my aim and the wind even when hit straight with a ding.  Any ideas out there?  Or just another quirk of the game?

THIS might have happened Orin. I've linked to one of my posts in the thread but you might want to read the whole thread to get the complete picture.

Thanks for the reply Scott.  That could be the issue, I'll certainly be paying more attention to my marker placement from now on.

You're welcome Orin, it only becomes an issue if the aim marker is out of view on the main game window, and then you click somewhere on the screen by accident. It's then that the aim marker will jump to where you clicked.

↓↓ EDIT : Thank you Kelly, appreciate your comments. ↓↓

Thanks for that link back to original thread Scott - very very helpful and something I did not know. Hasn't have the issue myself yet and now hopefully will avoid it completely.

    Kudos to you!
