Southern England Links is a smallish (75-85 members) club, but high in activity with Strokeplay Leagues, CTTH monthly comps, Premium Leagues, Cup tournaments (not the WGT brackets in game), a unique points scoring competition, club rankings based on the real World Golf Rankings, a Tour...probably more, can't remember everything!
We regularly get a 40-50% turnout for our events and the recent club Championships saw 61 members complete at least 1 round before the cuts were made, also, 32 members have taken part in the club's 1st Matchplay Championships.
Some events have Tier tables too, there is no Tier snobbery at SEL, each does the best they can, hopefully without WDing along the way!
The Inter CC team is healthy and active, currently taking part in the Club GP and an Inter Club mini League where interest is so high, the team is run on a rotation basis.
Registering on the forums and chat room are a must please, admittance to SEL will not happen without this, though not compulsory to use them, just adds more to your time with us and acts as a great place to arrange a game with a fellow club member, or just chew the fat.
We have Legends and Tour Legends who have offered a "mentor" service to lower tiered players if help or advise is required, that's how we roll...
