Here's a suggestion for a problem that has bothered me from day 1. When I select to "Join a game" for multiplayer, then set my preferences (18 holes, 9 holes, random course or a selected course, ETC.) It will many times create a game instead...as if I created it and am asking for other players.

If I request to "Join A Game" then I should never be at the top of the player list as if I created this game. This apparently happens when my "Join a Game" request cannot find a game of the types I've requested. It doesn't happen always...usually on my "try again" if a game is not found matching my criteria.

I do not want WGT to "Create a Game" in my name when it cannot find a game matching my criteria in "Join a Game". This leads to people making all sorts of assumptions about me as a WGT member.

Never create a game in my name if I am just attempting to JOIN a game.

I was sent randomly to an Olympic alt shot game.  This means that I'm a Capricorn, a water sign, prefer dogs to cats, enjoy candlelight dinners, smooth jazz, and Pepsi to Coke.

I understand the op, I think.  I often will search for a game just because I don't like to choose the set up.

If another player sets up a game but then leaves, the first person to have joined the host's game is now the host.  That person then has no option to invite anyone specific.

This is how I'd imagine it should/could be....

If the host (person who originally setup the round) leaves the lobby, then cancel the round all together.

Happens to me all the time, and I wouldn't mind it, except it always (without fail) has me hosting a Best of Par Fives or Best of Par Threes, which I don't want to play anyways.

I wouldn't mind if it set me up on a random course based on what I was looking for in the first place.......

What the OP's talking about is looking to join a game and being thrust into the host position. I personally don't like hosting games and typically search for random joins. Rather than keep looking the game creates one and makes me the host.

What I mean is exactly as YankeeJim says... they think I created the game...and just bailed on them. They don't know that I was just looking to join a game and had nothing to do with creating it. And this doesn't just happen when the original host leaves...I've looked to join a game only to have me be the host from the very git go.
