    WGTdbloshoe:
In terms of what we hear from players...  Here are the three basic ones we have been getting, in no particular order.

    WGTdbloshoe:
Like the CC Events and have fun playing in them, can you give us more of a schedule on when they will happen and times they will begin.

Amazed but won't dispute your advice.

    WGTdbloshoe:
We would like to be able to challenge a specific Club.

If this format, once understood, appeals to even a sizeable minority I would be flabbergasted.

    WGTdbloshoe:
There needs to be changes to the scoring so small clubs can compete.

Even some small degree of skill needed would be a great start for sure.

Please do not take anything personal, and I appreciate you have one tough job here with this.

I do genuinely see this as in effect just a rort to be frank though.  I also happen to think there must be something half way sensible out there too, and I just can't say that about any of this.

    WGTdbloshoe:
I just stated that there are more players in the game then just the ones on the forums.

Yes you did state this- and if 1000 players participate in the forums and there are 7 million players - percentage wise this gives the forum users little or no say.

Now my thoughts were the Forum is the ONLY place we can voice our opinions. If I write an email to CS with a suggestion, they email back and say "use the forum".

So where the heck are you getting this "positive feedback" on the CC Clashes? PM's, wall posts, because they sure are not in the forums.

The most fundamental aspect MUST be to be fair - this has not been addressed and IMHO, no clash should have been contemplated until this was rectified.

But this is not about being fair and equitable - it is simply about making money. If the clashes were popular, you would see an increase in ball usage - but not only that players need to purchase passes as well.

Until those two aspects are fixed, I will not play a clash game, and would urge others to do the same.

But to stubbornly push on without listening (and oh, I simply do not believe you have got positive feedback) is stupidity.

I admire your loyalty DB and your openness, but this is one you should have sat out - this was Pizzaesque.

When it comes down to it, I work for WGT and that will inevitability lead to some players not liking my stand on some things.

V fully understood, and why nothing here is ever personal:)  I do thank you for being as open as you can.

+1 , Just not seeing any improvement from the first clash debacle at all except for the closure of said loopholes in the first one.

What is different about this one?  I'm sure there is something or some idea that from the so called millions of user's could have made this a skill-based competition with opportunity for smaller clubs to compete and not consumption of balls or at least passes as it is now.

Why roll these out w/out any improvement just b/c a unseen and unheard majority enjoy them? (less than likely)  Or the real reason the money making aspect of them thru sales of passes and ball usage!  The proverbial metaphor of sucking a cows utters until their dry , still seems to apply to these clashes.

Good opportunity here for fun community event with some tweaking for certain and some improvements but no need to keep rolling these out without trying to improve them besides for the ever so apparent greed factor.

I did not even go into the farce that these CC Batttes reward as prizes!

By the way just checked the leader board and everyone's favorite clash participant ANCC is in the top 5 and climbing!

So to make a long story short, its WGTs way or the highway. We the people that make WGT. we the people that speak our likes and dislikes  on the  forum.

We who more or less are testers for the game letting WGT know when something messes up.

Carry very little weight as far as how the game performs, and they pick and choose what they want to refer to, as the will of the people .

So you can talk till your blue in the face and they are going to do what they want to do.

It's their ball  field , we are just the players.

    Shoe,

2 numerical tweaks for you, it is up to you whether you like them or not, that is your perogative.

      1) Apply a ratio to every club.

For example a 50 member club plays a 250 member club - that is a 5:1 ratio. Every player in the 50 player club has his score multiplied 5 times.

      2) Give a bonus in each match for the club with the greatest  percentage of player participation.

For example 10 players play from 50 player club equals 20% participation

125 players from 250 member club play equals 50% particpation

    250 player club gets bonus.

    Regards

    Ian
