    Hi all, now l know the top players on WGT will have no concern for this post as they are rarely in this position but for the rest of us meer mortals l think it's relevant. Imagine your on your best round ever then SPLAT in the Bunker,in the Fescue, in the light Fescue, in the Mulch, 2 yards off the green and your represented with a 70% to 80% lie. There goes another could have been should have been round. Gary Player was once asked why he seemed so lucky getting out of bunkers, he quickly replied " it's funny the more l practice the luckier l get". Now it would be nice if there was a practice green available with lots of different lies and the ability to drop the ball any where around it. Come on WGT sort your software out and make it happen. More scenarios, more skilled players, you know it makes sense.

    It does?

    WGT has prospered since they went online in 2008 6 years ago, without the capability you suggest.

    Lots of players have learned how to hit from hazards so they lose a minimum number of strokes, if any.

    I think I have played 3 practice rounds on WGT since I joined.

    There is, you just have to set it up. Either set up a practice round with whatever conditions you want, get to where you want to practice and use the mulligan feature to hit the same shot over and over. Using a mulligan is like hitting the ball twice for ball hit purposes.

    Or, if you want to play a specific hole, under the WGT COMMUNITY tab above, go to courses and pick the hole you want to play. You'll still get the mulligan feature.

    FWIW, those top players you mentioned were all right exactly where you are now and a lot of them never had the mulligan feature when they were. WGT compromised on the practice range and green and it works quite nicely.  GL

    And it shows lol

    Sand Save % 52.26%
    Scrambling %

    56.54%

    Practice greens and driving range are a couple of the most asked for features.  One would think WGT would prosper even more if they listened to what their customers want?

    Thanks Yankeejim for the advice much appreciated. l did go and try the Mulligan way but it's all very long winded and l suppose l'm just looking for the easy option. Need to just put my head down and get on with it, thanks again.

    Not this time, I fear.

    Any practice area would make practicing more systematic, thus more effective. It would cost the company a lot of unplayed rounds, a lot of unused balls. To cover that, the practice fee might have to be so high that players' complaints would never stop.

    Thus, no practice areas is better for them.

    Heh, I think we'd all be in that realm had there been decent clubs when we started 2 years prior.  ;-)

    70% to 80% lie.

    From what I can tell, that lie is a punch something with no known success ;-}
