This was copy & pasted from the FAQ's section ------------->

    What is my Average Score?

Your Average Score will be based on multiple best scores within ONLY your current Tier, not scores that you shot when in previous Tiers, which better reflects your current skill competing with the tee boxes and green speeds in your current Tier. Your Average Score will be based on ONLY your best scores, so completing a bad round will not negatively impact your Average Score or Tier. So be sure to finish all your rounds and gain the extra experience points, as a bad day won’t matter. Please note that scores from the Best of Par 3 and Par 5 stroke play courses will not be counted towards your Tier ranking.

The bolded part was added by me here, since it wasn't already there but should be.

I understand what the avg is. The question is " how can it be lower than my best score"?

    Thx for the response tho.

    It isn't.

Your score history shows some nice 29s, 30s and other vg scores from nine hole games. Unless played on Par3s or Par5s, these scores are doubled, i.e. 58, 60 etc. and then count towards your average.

Furtheron, WGT's anti-sandbagging measures might in fact push the average below a player's scores (valid below Legend tier only):

    - winning matches against higher tiers,

    - winning credits in tournaments (?and challenge games?).

The rules and extent of these influences are well-hidden secrets of the company.

Thank you, the doubling of 9 hole rnds makes a little more sense.

Your best 18 hole score is a 52,  which possibly could be simply from shooting -2 for 18 holes on the par 3 course.
