    fmagnets:

Excellent. I'm looking forward to an interesting and thoroughly reasoned offering.

Waiting for the permission from WGT. If they post again my 3d and can avoid me to write down it again, I'll be grateful. English is not my mother tongue.

    Here is your post:

    > I saw the final round of the VIRTUAL TOUR played by FMAGNETS. He clearly used some software to get the ding (autoding they call it?) and I would like to say some bad words, not compliments.

    > If you watch the whole round you see that for any shot he moves the SWING just over the ding and the meter always gets EXCELLENT ! The few times (watch the approach shot and the first putt at the 14th hole) he doesn't get the ding, it is because he doesn't put the swing exactly over the ding, but just a little bit earlier o later. Any players knows well how much is important to watch the meter running, in order to get his rhythm and stop it at the ding. If you spent the very short time available, moving the SWING just over the ding, you can't watch the meter running, so getting the ding becomes much more difficult. Not for him.... Always EXCELLENT, even when the meter jumps, even with 30mph side winds!. The definitive proof is around the minute 18:40 at the 10th hole . He had to pitch, he swinged, the bar started to run, he moved the SWING but, for some reason, he didn't succeded in putting it over the DING. He remained earlier. He realized to be not sure to move it in time at the right place, so he moved quickly far away up to the left, for aborting the shot. NOW, any players knows that you have 2 ways to avoid to shot. Just don't click and stay calm and/or move the SWING to disappear below the bar. So the meter runs for the whole bar and the club moves like for a trial, without hitting the ball. Moving the SWING away from DING is useless, unless you need to do that because the AUTODING is programmed to stop the meter where the SWING is posted over the bar!! Like it did for the whole round.  So he repeated the shot, he moved the swing over the ding and he gets EXCELLENT!  The only shot repeated, the only one where he didn't move the SWING over the ding.  pfui

It's a fine theory, but it does not match the facts.

The following observations are Marker over ding line? / Ding? for each shot on each hole:

    Hole 1: Yes/Late Yes/Late Yes/Yes

    2: Yes/Yes Yes/Early

    3. Yes/Yes Yes/Yes Yes/Yes

    4. Yes/Yes Yes/Late Yes/Yes

    5. Yes/Yes Early/Early

    6. Early/Yes Yes/Yes

    7. Yes/Late Early/Yes Yes/Yes

    8. Yes/Yes Yes/Yes Yes/Yes

    9. Yes/Yes Yes/Late Late/Late

    10. Yes/Yes Yes/Yes Yes/Yes

    11. Yes/Yes Yes/Yes

    12. Yes/Late Yes/Yes Yes/Yes

    13. Yes/Early Yes/Yes

    14. Yes/Early Early/Early Yes/Yes

    15. Yes/Yes Yes/Yes Yes/Yes

    16. Yes/Yes Yes/Yes

    17. Yes/Early Yes/Yes

    18. Late/Yes Early/Early

If your theory is correct, all the observations before and after each / would be the same. As you can see, they are not. This shows the claims in your thread to be untrue, defamatory towards me, and is why WGT would have pulled it as it is against their guidelines. I'd strongly suggest checking your facts next time before posting things like 'clearly used some software to get the ding' and 'So he repeated the shot, he moved the swing over the ding and he gets EXCELLENT!'.

A more intelligent train of thought would have been to consider why this statement of yours is wrong, and how it might help you become a better player: 'If you spent the very short time available, moving the SWING just over the ding, you can't watch the meter running, so getting the ding becomes much more difficult.'

I look forward to your apology, after which there will be no hard feelings :-)

I caught this 'proof' last night before it was pulled, it certainly sent me off to bed with a smile. People's assumptions never cease to amuse and amaze me in equal part.

    Fixed that for you man.

    Hogwash from start to finish.

Congrats on your fine win Mr. Magnets.

I'll be the one to not be so polite.

Wow you have to be lacking serious brain cells to make such an accusation. Tam! He put out a recording of his play! He records all his rounds! Why on earth would someone whom cheats show all his play via youtube!?!? And then you come to the conclusion he's using an auto ding after watching them?

WOW just WOW, sorry fmagnets you felt you had to respond to this raging moron.

Do yourself a favor Tam and keep this sentence with you at all times "It is better to keep your mouth closed and let people think you are a fool than to open it and remove all doubt."
