Gift sleeve of balls

  What happens if you don't have enough credits for the gift?

  Hope you have overdraft protection.  ;-)

  No I'm actually curious, does it just bring up the window to purchase more credits or does it cancel the transaction?

   

   

  I wonder if it will be like a skins challenge or matchplay challenge.  If you don't have enough cr's it should say so.

  I'm down to my last 136 credits,  if I remember next time, I'll try it to see what happens.

  I can confirm for you guys that if you don't have enough credits to make the gift then it will take you to the purchase credits screen.

  I was hoping this would just be a Christmas thing - not a permanent fixture.

  I have not criticized WGT in the past - after all they do have to make money.

  But if this is an "In Your Face" feature from now on and will not go away after Christmas I have to ask: 

  Why not rather then spending time doing something foolhardy like this in an attempt to have us mis-click BUT RATHER do something that helps the CCs who really are the backbone of continuing CC money making opportunities.

  Simply: 

  1) A CC Bank

  2) CC Directors with something other than a title.

  3) A CC versus CC tourney arranged by the owners where members from either CC can enter a simple stroke play tourney.

  WGT: the last I checked our CC stats our members are averaging around 8,000 rounds a month.That is a lot of sleeves of balls. You need to give us more incentive to play - not less like with this totally silly idea....

  Something else that I wonder....  How about those who play the non giftable balls?  Or someone like myself that has been playing old golf balls that aren't available in the pro-shop anymore?

  Is there still an option to gift them and if there is, when you try to gift them do you then get some error message, or is the gift option just not there for them at the end?   

   

  also,  wonder what will happen when I'm down to my last Dove ball, will I i get the option to buy more?  But they aren't for sale in the proshop.  Ponderisms,  just love em.  :)

  You may get a blank gift window like I did earlier today hp,  although I'm sure the ball the other player was using is currently in the shop.

  just played 3 others in a game that used free balls.... and the balls WGT put together for them as a gift was, LMAO  the highest $ ball for their level
