    DAMN....

Equipped EZ swing lob wedge, hybrid and driver by not concentrating.

Sacked it on #6 and + 4, couldn't figure out the lob wedge for recoveries :-((

The damn thing shouldn't have let you tee off with the E-Z Swing clubs in the bag. Sumptin ain't right. We need to talk to Shoe about how that could happen.

Played the 1st round with the EZ swing hybrid too after c*cking up the change over, said to myself "make sure to check for R2"....

2am and too many brandies I guess :-)))

That is strange. I accidentally equipped the EZ swing irons in the first round and it wouldn't let me tee off until I switched. Don't know why it didn't for you.

    Very odd indeed...

I've sent a PM question to Shoe to see if he can look into it.

I know that there was some testing involved by Icon and Shoe as they did set-up for this, but it's reasonable to suppose that trying to access the tourney with EZ swing irons equipped wasn't part of the test.

I trust that no participants will deliberately attempt to use anything other than the required full starters set up for this event.

Congrats to Mags on shooting a sub-par round in the toughest of all possible conditions for R2. I will be very impressed if anyone can match that achievement.

And I'm very curious to see how many players can end up under par across the whole tourney.

    Good luck everyone!

P.S. I'll try and collate the info presented from R1 scorecards/stats etc, to give a picture of who's in pole position for each special prize (but gotta get some key rounds in and deal with UEL Tour admin catch-up first!).

    UGH!

Had a special one going most of the way. Was doing all I could to not make any really bone-headed moves and just try to two-putt as often as possible. Even threw in a few 10-12' saves, as well.

    Was +3 for 15, and caught a bonus with a 27' birdie on 16...

    Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE http://www.wgt.com/replay.aspx?ID=55a7a496-48c1-4897-96b6-a4110047947b

+2 with 2 to go? Was a bit shocked to be that well-off. THEN 17 hit. *Again*

Drifted left, was stuck up against the front-left face of the bunker, and decided to make sand castles for a bit. Ran up a 6 to knock myself out of the top 10 >_< Then, go figure, staked a 9-iron on 18 to finish with another birdie for a +4 round of 58.

Woulda been thrilled to be +4 at the start, but once I got that close? That's *really* annoying.

Played my 2nd round. It was tough not reaching some of the greens. After a bogey on 1st hole it looked dark but hey, Swedish vikings never surrenders!

    Anyhow, here is my card!

    Corwyn:
I notice another impressive 50 has been posted, by Piirikas (a regular high finisher in Shoe and Icon's special crazy tourneys), and it seems from his profile that he made a HIO on the 6th! Congrats!!!

Thank you Corwyn. Had some positive surprises, indeed. Second round 58 was more in line with expectations (and skills). Thanks to everyone involved for organizing this tourney.

I'll second that! Super shooting Mati. And wonderful to see a TIO veteran come in with such an impressive overall under par score. That's going to be hard to beat...

Good luck to everyone still to play (and please note I messed up with my dates when submitting the original suggestion to Shoe, somehow thinking that Jan 3 was a Sunday... so even though R1 went Mon-Sun, don't get caught out thinking this tourney runs through Sunday evening. It does end this coming Saturday!).
