How random are the winds?

  Just wondering this as I had a stretch at St. Andrews where I had 9 out of 10 holes into the wind, including 4 consecutive potential eagle holes (5, 9, 10, and 12)

   

  Before anyone says I am complaining after a bad round, I did shoot EVEN BIRDIE for that 18. However, I can say it was getting grumpy when I had to forego potential eagle putts on those holes (finally had a cross and slightly downwind hole on 14, which I did eagle)

  they are random but as rng goes, you could have patches of similar winds... that's the nature of rng.

  Me too, also the reachable par 5 always are downwind so as to make for a nice little pitch coming back;-))

  To bad there isn't a game that uses real time geo-location weather conditions...

  I randomly always get tail on the 14th at St Andys, when pin location is to the right.

  And head wind when the pin location is to the left....

  I just play the monthly St.A's Full on head winds on 12 holes 5 quartering head winds, one tail wind. Has anybody ever played a round where you didn't have a head wind??? I think random is a bunch of WGT nonsense. And why do you always get tail winds where you don't need them.
