  Just got off the CC of the week post and while it had 5 pages of congrats --- it had no stars.

  Didn't know that, I always thought it had to do with the number of responses, thought it was WGT generated.

  Yes you do....have fun with that.

  What I'm guessing is that someone can click on the gold stars and help boost the thread to the top of the forums and keep it on the front page, at least that's what I'm imagining.
