  Sorry Icon but I have been having bad loading issues this last 4-5 day's and it is only happening on the wgt site no other web site, and correct me if I am wrong but the last time I checked WGT used datapipe servers????

   

  i think so but I am not 100% sure.

  Me, too, as long as you recognize that AS games need a specific scenario to launch successfully.

  As the host you have to know that if one of your invites either gets canceled or ignored, you have to forge ahead and keep inviting until you get a fourth. That is after you tell the 2 others waiting to stay put, you know they don't see the new invite and that'll you'll reinvite everybody once you see 3 other live souls, regardless of what they don't see in the lobby.

  This is a most obnoxious way to get a game going and that's coming from someone that took the time to figure out what it takes to get a simple friggin AS match going. I can't imagine how many say "Eff it" and go play something else.

  You've seen it yourself so I trust there will be no communication breakdown when YOU tell them what's happening.

  Current upload speed 10.38 mbps, upload 1.10 mbps, and the only problem I have is when playing WGT, load timeouts, blue screens, error with the game. 

  It is what it is, WGT servers suck, sorry for being blunt and honest. Have talked to many members in the club, about 25% experiencing same problem!

  Why then does WGT acknowledge they have problems, then there are none, but wait there are some............................................................I have them! Last two weeks only!

  My current speeds are 29mbps download, upload 9.5 and also the only problem on a site I have is where I live, here in Czech Republic and with WGT. Not only that but we do not even get surveys, to watch videos, enter most attractive comps for prizes, etc.

  I "ping" all the servers close to me and get around 20 - 30ms. Ping the USA on the east coast and get around 300ms if I am lucky and the west coast has been as bad as 450ms

  Tried speedtest and of course the general conclusion is that for ONLINE gaming, which this is by the way, is basically not possible or virtually impossible. Thus load timeouts, kick outs, not being able to get back in time, etc.

  The only time I can play this game with any relative chance of actually finishing a game with on-line friends is if we play at say 7am - 11am CET. After that when most of the USA has started playing the speeds here decrease from slowish to "not worth botheringish". This is nothing against the USA, a lot of my friends are there, but playing together is almost impossible. Most of the time they have to wait for me to load up and an 18 hole A/S took us almost 4 hours last time.

  Additionally I can play any other on-line game and have no problems so I think its time WGT invested some of that CASH that they have accrued over the last few years and do something positive instead of inventing cr@p for us to spend our money on.

  It has always been known to work for some while not working for others at the same exact time. After 5 years of playing, I've dealt with many issues.Factors could be anything from computer issues, IP addresses, to connections on either end. I've had to play on on Windows XP for the last 4 years for the sole purpose of a smooth meter.( same pc,same connection on Win 7, as i have both operating systems installed, Win 7 was just too jerky of a meter top play decent.) Only recently, I installed a solid state drive and made it possible for me to play WGT on Win 7 for the first time ever, as i tried every few months in the past.The meter still blips every so often but I'm so glad to be off Win XP. Just a few months ago, for an extended period, I was booted every 5 min from the site, or at least the box would pop up to reload. Now, it's running great, never get booted. So all of this is to be considered, Did i forget to mention how many browsers I've been through also? One minute IE is working, then not. Next minute Firefox is working, then not.Google Chrome, then not On to Safari, then not. Not to mention Adobe flash player issues. OMG !!! So, yes WGT has problems, and it is up to them (and us) to determine if it's on our side or theirs at which particular time...For you people that have slow computers(single core processors with less than 2 G of RAM )or minimum bandwidth( less than 3mbps download, and 1mbps upload) you are probably fighting a lost cause. I actually know a little about computers and it still drives me crazy trying to keep playing golf(smooth meter) at WGT. As for as the game itself, loads of fun. I miss all the time but it's my fault and not theirs.I feel sorry for some players that want to play decent golf and can't. One of my friends has been playing 5 years with a jerky meter and his score shows it, but he still plays faithfully. He deserves a better chance at a good score. It's his minimum bandwidth probably. for the ones that know nothing about computers but want to play anyway: This is where WGT has a responsibility, if they want to keep customers satisfied,( keep Dreaming !)  lol

  Correct me if i'm wrong but i thought you all rented your server space from a company called Lasek Technologies , am i wrong?  and if you have control of  said servers, why have you not fixed the old Alternate Shot glitch or the newer AS glitch?

  lag lag lag lag lag. it's rediculous. I'm getting constant loading  during  my games on a brand   new desktop with the router right beside  it. don't blame the computer it's always the game. what do you guys do during matanance ,  count your loot you get. wgt your a joke. this game has been out for almost a decade and we're facing the same problems every day.

  Just now had to hit the retry button 3 times before the reply page would loaded. Been going on for some time. It is the only part of WGT that I have trouble with, everything else is working fine.
