  Had a tight opening match with jeffdos, we both had some good and bad holes but I came away with a 2&1 win.

   Round 1 is in the books .. Bollox wins 2 & 1, in a match that was much closer than I would have bet on.

  It was a little bit of a sloppy front 9 , more so for BB than me, but he still had a 2up lead at the turn. On the 10th hole, I pulled my tee shot way left, chipped long, and then missed the par put that would have halved the hole .... 3dn, and I could feel the rout coming.

  Then, miracle of miracles, I started making some putts ... big benders on 11, 12, and 13 to halve those holes and a solid bird on 14 to get back to 1DN, and I was thinking I had a chance. #15 was halved with pars, and 2 birdies on 16. On #17 , I was looking at 149 yrds into 9mph wind. I hit about 158ish, trying to play long..... should have hit the full 160 b/c I was just short of catching the backstop behind the hole and spinning back. Now I have 8 feet, 3inches down with a slight right to left break ... easy enough, right? ... lipout!!!!!  I was probably thinking too much about going to 18, where anything could happen. As it was, I never got there..BB knocks in his little 2 1/2 footer for the win.

   Fun match with the Deviations finest v. the Dev's most mediocre ...lol. Nice win, Bolly ... go take out the rest of them now, bud!

  Just finish my first round match whit Imcoola, and that was a realy strange match...lol  it had everything from starplaying to hack  and some ugly assfucking by WGT!!

  We didnt play our best nither of us, but we had our moments  lol  I won the match 3 up but i dont have any scorecard becouse Chris got so pissed at WGT that he left before we got finish  lol

  I fully understand him tho, becouse wgt wasent nice to us this evening!!  GG Chris, i am sure that you will kick my butt next time we meet up my friend, and it was great to get to know you!!

  Your not going to believe this, but Davidwmmunro did not read the rules and does not want to play in the tournament as it is too pricey.  So third time a charm...i guess its Suncity28 JC?  Please confirm?

  After David pulling out of the tournament he been the 1st alternate & I the 2nd alternate.

  Sunshinewilly & myself went a head with the match.

  Was a special match. Sunshine made a few important putts early on (red hot putter) I got of to my normal slow putting self in these matches. Sunshine went 3 up. I got it back to 2 down just before the turn. The match wen`t 1 up back to 2up over the net few holes. 

  Got it back to 1 down 17th sunshine found the rough with his drive. I hit close (back to even) 18th I hit a sold 2nd with in 5ft & Sunshine come up short.

  Winner suncity28 1 up on the last.

  Thanks for the match mate was really fun sorry to take the win of you late mate. We got the match done early this time :)

  Was a fun Match Suncity.  A little heartbroken after leading the whole match to lose on 18, but so she goes.  I started out very well and then cooled off some.  And Anthony was able to be pretty consistent the whole way through and then play his best two holes on 17 and 18.  Thanks mate!

  If anyone wants to have a high stakes match, im game...having withdrawl!!

  Hi JC,

  We seem to have difficulty getting our match going (kam4122 v Friendofyourwife), been looking out for each other but never on at the same time. Friend plays night time EST (not sure if that is through the night or evening) so with me being UK time I guess that is why we are missing each other.

  I will keep on trying to arrange something, but thought would give you advance warning that we are struggling somewhat.

  Unfortunately I have to WD from this tourney! Will be out of house for a couple of days ( unexpected). Hope you will find a replacement for me to play U4L.

  Round 1 is in the books with Hanswurst. Always close between the two of us. First of all, he was great and very flexible to get this match in. He was on vacation for a week, and then allowed me a couple hour break in the middle of our match today to pick up my daughter from preschool and take care of some work.

  He had tough luck with the greens today and missed several putts that are normally in for him. Neither of us played stellar, i closed with a birdie streak that gave me the win 2 & 1. Great playing with you Hans!
