I don't care for the names here as they are only Logo pictures covering some software. These and the alleged material characteristics are only the commercial script WGT gets payed for IMHO.

Dimple design, graphite shaft, cast blades with cavity back etc. don't exist in this virtual world, do they?

Sorry to say, but those asking for special brands will only get their logos. Poor lads...

It's all about advertizing, and I'm sure that WGT gets payed for it.

Sorry it is...and something of a curiosity to me. While I have always used the Ttileist ball, I do so for its efficacy only. With other things, specifically garments, I avoid logo clothes & hats as I perceive them to be tacky looking...also, why would I provide advertising... gratis?

    THIS!  alosso gets it!

To assume WGT pays Nike, who had a $2.75 Billion marketing budget in 2013,  is at best naive.  WGT Media provides a venue for Nike advertizing and branding.

Why not Titleist?  Well, Acushnet's Total Revenue was only $1.2B in 2010 less than one half of Nike's 2013 marketing budget!    IMO Titleist will be more selective than Nike choosing an advertizing venue.  Nike's a better 'target' for sponsorship, again IMO.

Titleist being one of the oldest, and longest standing golf equipment makers, with a brand that represents quality, integrity, and honestly, probably doesn't want a black eye on the reputation they've worked so hard to build.

On the other hand you have Nike who's known to practice the slave labor practices of low wages and long hours worked by children overseas in Asia, has a brand  that stands for out sourcing and greed, exactly the opposite of what Titleist stands for.

Put 2 and 2 together and I think you'll see why we'll never see Titleist gear here at WGT.

    Best post ever!!

Well, as a fact of history, aside from the Titleist ball, they have NEVER had any clubs worth a darn,,,,closest they came was when they tried to do a knock-off of the Mizuno M29 irons for Tiger. And Nike still doesn't produce anything of notice either.

Clearly meant from a personal point of view i guess. I purchased a nike covert 7iron for £5(ex-demo although unused) , it is now my go to club. Best club ive ever had id say...

I think wgters will buy a set of clubs purely for the brand name. If i'm wrong then in real life we would all be wearing Plain white T-shirts ..no ?

I dunno Sweetie, don't forget the old 971D driver.  That was a big success on the pro tour.

Callaway for me but also huge respect for Mizuno gear.

All just personal preference of course.

Still waiting for my 200-yard-wegde. Doesn`t matter if it will be called Titleist, Pike, Ning or Stickonastone then.

Not only the 971D Driver, but the Vokey wedges are as good as any out there, and the same putter that resembles my Scotty Cameron Studio Stainless, the one Tiger putted so well with, is also still as good as any putter on the market.  All the company's have made great strides in balls, but IMO nothing comes close to the Pro V.
