I've been playing 6 to 10 hours a day, every day, for 3 years.  I recently made Tour Legend but feel as if it isn't really any kind of accomplishment.

So tell me, you 56 average players, how you have learned to 'Ding" almost every shot? Because that would be the only possible way to have a 56 average?

There must be something you do that I haven't thought of yet and any "Insight" you could give me would be very much appreciated.

i dont have a 56 ave, but i will say hitting the ding every shot is not what its about..... course mgt., knowing where to place the ball and decent putting is what is needed

I don't ding every shot. Probably not even 50%. What i do is try and miss the ding on the same side the wind is coming from just to hold it out there a little bit before the wind brings it back in.

If you're looking for "insight" then i suggest going to Fmagnets profile and watching some of his videos or you might even catch him playing live on is twitch channel.

I must say it's very refreshing that someone comes here and asks how it's done instead of just calling cheat because they can't play as well as the top guys/girls here.

I'd say most of us are "saturated" with our "average".

Mines probably more like a 60 or 61 avg...can't speak for others though.

Agree with all above.  After 500 ranked rounds your average can only go down.  My avg is ridiculous because it's made up of about 450 27's (2x27=54) and maybe 50 or so 26's (2x26=52) with a few 25's thrown in.

Like Baggs, my "true" avg is more like 60/61 using the formula:

    Par 4 avg x 10 plus par 5 avg x 4 plus par 3 avg x 4...that's a much more accurate measure of average.

When I wish to consider a true average, I look at the per hole ( par 3 - 4 - 5 ) stat average and apply those numbers to the course....it is normally a pretty high, yet real idea of a true average.

You know gerry for lots of people average don't means anything now

Even an average players like me if i want, i play only from red tee some easy course and score lots of 25 or 26, my average will be 51, 10 points  less than my reel average lol

There's also those red tee TLs that don't play ranked rounds from the back tees after they make TL to protect that false average.
