We can all hear our own Ding when we hit the sweet spot but how about letting MP opponents hear it too when someone else hits the Ding on their shot? This means you can tell when someone else has made a good shot, or not, so you will know whether their accuracy is more down to skill (Ding) or luck (no Ding) and you can congratulate, console or 'rib' them appropriately.

I always wonder about this when I'm playing against others, are they better than me or just getting luckier?  :)

EDIT: Following the replies below. How about showing just part of the opponents swing meter, as shown. You could see how well your opponent hit their shot based on this without it giving away too much info about how they set the shot up i.e. power and direction selected.

you dont need the ding on every shot for it to be good. most of the time i swing late so i adjust my shot for it, only early shot will hurt. on my driver if i hit just a tad before ding the ball travels farther then a ding shot. then VEM steps in once in awhile with a meter jump to equal things out.

It's not always about the ding.  There are a lot of things that can be done with your shot by off dinging.  So in some cases even if not dinged it might be a good shot, if that is what the player intended.

    Fair point.

Even though, I think it would be a nice option to have. It can't be hard to implement (code).

Code? a lot of WGTs' problems is down to code they still cant or wont fix the numerous bugs highlighted within these forums. They have they attitude of it aint broke lets fix it memtality and usually screw something else up. the recent "transparent" avatars when putting glitch is just one example
