you should be able to TELL how much life you have in a ball before you go play.

There you have a point .  WGT make it harder than it should be to easily tell how much ball life you have left before you go to tee off in the one you care about, but changing the one ball rule is not the way to solve it.

Playing anything half important it's best to to do it with a ball you know is OK / enough credits to say yes please to buy now.

Unless my memory i bad, i think there was a "number" next to the hit bar in the past. We were able to see the exact number of hits left in a ball...I know its been gone for awhile. Does anyone else remember this feature ?

    Have fun in WGT,

    Johnny

Don't remember that from my three years here.

Is it possible that you mix it up with the Putter Pal and Shot Pal which have it?

If I had 2 Pfennigs for every thread started on this subject I'd be playing with the top Nikes rather than level 33 Callys.

    LOL!

But I fear that you fell for my lil insider: It's difficult to get any amount of Pfennigs on your WGT account because Mark and Pfennig have gone with the Euro twelve years ago. They still have their value, but you'd have to carry them to a German Governmental Bank to get them exchanged in convertable currency :)

I just feel like we should be able to "know" what we have before we get on the course.

    Manual solution.

Yep. Kinda lo tech - but hey effective if used. You could even use the smaller yellow post-it and stick it right on your computer.

Lots of players seem to want WGT to do their thinking for them.

Since I play the same ball all the time I  just remember and know that right now I have 5 balls left and ball #5 has about 75% of it's durability remaining.

When I get down to 3 or 4 balls left I get another sleeve.

Yeah - I appreciate all the comments.

Mostly I suppose I was wanting to find out IF there was a way the system 'told' you.

SO very much here to see; read; study and do.  It's easy to overlook something

    Everyone stay warm.
