What is the formula for playing tourneys in this game?  Every time I have a hot start, almost without fail, I get bad winds and lipouts the rest of the round.  Should I just make a few crummy pars at the beginning and the WGT gods will feel sorry for me?  It's uncanny how the rounds I play where I have a crap start I usually finish with a bunch of birdies, and, holy crap... vise versa... hot start equals bend over, the gods are going to get you back in SPADES.  Tonight on Kiawah high wind single play- birdie, eagle, birdie start... the next 12 holes exactly ZERO helping winds and 4 harsh lipouts before the inevitable WD.  Didn't see that coming... the definition of insanity is playing WGT tourneys over and over and expecting (just once!) to not get screwed.

LOL Cm, you gotta love random winds on wgt .

I have played all three 50 cent ready goes everyday, since they came out earlier last month. And I have kept track of every tailwind I got for reachable par 5's. It's less then 5 so far.

And I did a test I parred every hole on purpose, until I got to a par 5, and what do you know, a tailwind.

So Cm, your not the only one having the same issues.

WGT in full 'bite me' mode tonight... last night I actually managed a decent round in the back 9 RG... tonight?  Who knew I'd get headwinds on the first 5 holes (but only two lip-outs... lucky me)... Nope, it's not you, WGT, it's me... I know how this game works and I was foolish enough to play anyway..  My bad...

Noticed that I go into the "choke" mode when I have birdies on 3 of the first 4 holes. The more I concentrate, the bigger the "ding" miss!.  Anybody out there have an anti-choke pill (and a pox upon you if you offer me something that's small and blue!)
