  Those of us who are Orthodox Christians,  celebrate Christmas January 7th.

  Normally My family takes the Christmas tree down after the 7th , wonder if that has anything do with it !

  7th is also the end of xmas where I am from.

  Julian v Gregorian calendar thing " I FINK". Twas in Tenerife one year Jan.  They do Cmas (or at least looked close to it) all over again so got to get trashed all over, LOL.  Well was going to do that anyway but:)

  Los Tres 'Reyes Magos' is on 6th Jan in Spain....

  They celebrate the birth on the 25th but children are not given presents till the 6th in honour of the 3 wise men / kings that travelled and brought gifts to the baby Jesus.

  Parades all over Spain...great spectacle !

  (good time for a Winter break too, Ive been sunbathing the last 10 days) :-)
