They will have tiered up after they entered.

Happened to me in the "Mr. Caddie and Friends Holiday giveaway" tourn on Kiawah. I won the "Tour Pro" tier... but I had tiered up during the competition. I got hate mail for that, people saying I was a cheat etc... :(

Unfortunately many people are not aware that if you tier up during a tournament you entered, you'll still play in the tier you signed up as. Hate mail is not appreciated and if you happened to receive more please take a screenshot and submit it to Customer Support. We do not approve of that kind of behavior.

    WGTyphoon,

Maybe WGT should add a better explanation in the FAQ's re: Tiering Up during a Tournament. Most of us realize you have a vague description there already. I think a further explanation would be helpful to prevent players from thinking that people have somehow cheated.

Maybe even 5 XP's for reading the Help/FAQ and T&C's in the gameclient?

Not that anybody even reads that page, obviously..lol

    Just a thought...
