While setting up for an Alt shot game we were joined by a Legend with a 53.88 average !! I ask you how can this be right ??

On closer inspection I notice he has not played a Ranked Round since 11.10.14, since then played 19 rounds of GolfLink Challenge and so far 4 Rounds Blitz Famous. Otherwise plays , or bullies other players in Matchplay or Alt shot.

Surely this is the old problem of sandbagging rearing its head

Some people lower their score average, and then just sit on it, not shooting any ranked or tournament rounds, just to wear that low average as a status symbol I think.

All they have to do is tier up from a lower tier, and play 1 low ranked round to get their score average to drop way down. A person with a 60.00 score average can tier up, shoot a lucky 26 for nine holes and have a 52.00 score average.

If you run into him again in Alt shot or Matchplay, and he is bullying people as you say (I'm assuming with abusive language), take screen shots of his language, save them to your computer and email them to WGT.

Sandbagging usually works the other way round. Someone tiers up and shoots a bunch of terrible scores to make their score average skyrocket upward ... then they can sit there with a high score average and suck people in, thinking they've got an easy win on their hands.

Or set up a CC tourny with low wind and red tees on an easy course, no need for luck.
