Flash "Update" problems

  Anyone else having problems with a flash update message? Could be bad

  We had 3 guys report this yesterday.  Some adware loaded on their WGT window claiming their Flash needed updating.  Auto downloaded a rouge file.  Think it's ok as long as you delete rather than run that file.

  Seems to be a thing if you use Chrome and don't let them update flash. Never happened to me b4, now its there.Not sure about Firefox.

  Its not just a WGT thing, it happens on any page i open that would require Flash, Hulu, Netflix and so on. I just click *allow now* and it goes away.

  Thread in club forum about this - 1 chap ran file and is having megga problems.

  Not computer savey enough to know if I've just been lucky in not seeing it or if AdBlock prevents it.

  None of my virus/spyware/malware scans are picking it up, I thought I'd sorted it last night but it's back today. I don't know what else to do.

  Could this be a problem in the United Kingdom? 4 out of 5 are posters from there and all having same problem.

  Try reading this. Sounds like you folks could have a virus somewhere in your machine.

  the game is almost unplayable sometimes ... freezes at animation, at meter, cant read the greens (ugly putting dots animation) sometimes

  it started several days ago, when i have seen "allianz" sticker at the game, for the 1st time

  flash is not updated, and it aint gonna be updated (my version works well, last few months) ... all automatic update options r dissabled, at whole hard disk , .. FireFox, XP ...

  the game goes ok at 1st hole, then, after 1st scorecard and commercials, speed is decreased, freezes at the game, etc

  during next holes, i see background downloading (my internet traffic pointer) whole the time, sometimes more or less ... that is not update downloading, the flash version is still same

  last night it was a little better,  freezes but not so often, less background downloading then last few days

  my CC-mates cant explain what is this .

  Just like the Windows updates are mostly for security reasons, the same goes for the Flash player.

  This problem isn't coming from Adobe it looks like mal/spyware to me but nothing I've tried is even seeing it, never mind removing it.

  only happens on wgt no where else
