Using Maxthon3 browser, at any given moment WGT dissappears to be replaced by this -

and then this pops up - (which I cancelled) -

I have scanned with avg anti-virus, the latest Malwarebytes (premium), re-installed Maxthon3, no add-ons or extensions on it, cleared all caches, ran CCleaner.

Nothing has shown up from the scans but it still persists. Can someone offer some advice please?

You have to update the Flash player manually when using Maxthon

    Here's How:
    Update Flash Player first
Then go to My Computer, your hard drive
Under Windows find the file SysWOW64 click it
Find the file Macromed click it and the file Flash
Copy the latest file which is now NPSWF32 16.0.0.235.dll
Now you have to go into your program files and find the Maxthon program
Click on it, then click Core,
    then Webkit,
    then Npplugins
Paste the copied dll file and delete the old one

He reinstalled Maxthon so the latest Flash would be downloaded with it.

Maxthon3 always gives this flash version - 11,5,502,110

Thank's for the posts, I had read up on the maxthon flash update thread and seen this info.

Problem is, I don't believe this to be coming from Adobe or Maxthon.

    What do you think? -

On my pc I have flash 16

I tried to do the above but there's no sign of that NPSWF file?

You didn't read my directions properly.

    My Maxthon file:
    You want the highlighted version.

run a program called "Hijack This" and post the result...

Said it many times....free program called "winpatrol" stops all the hijacking...

Look in System32 then or go to Start and type in Macromed in the search box. You'll find it.
