Frankly, WGT is to easy as it is, even with 20 mph wind...........................
The best players should have scoring averages no more than 2 or 3 under par, or 68 or 69, not 10 or more strokes less than that at less than 60. But everyone likes making birdies so WGT keeps it easy to score if a player learns how to manage their virtual play. If you're having trouble scoring, regardless the conditions, you might want to make some changes to how you play WGT.
It takes 6 or more months for WGT to put together all 18 holes of a new course, and WGT has to have permission from a course to use it here at WGT. First they have to make 200,000 to 300,000 photographs of the course, then edit all of those photos, and then add the game programming.
WGT has an agreement with the USGA to add US Open venues. About May 1 we will get Chambers Bay, the 2015 US Open venue.
We already have the 2016 US Open venue - Oakmont, so in 2016 WGT doesn't have to produce a US Open venue.
In 2017 we get US Open venue Erin Hills and in 2018 we get Shinnecock Hills.
Pebble Beach for 18 hole stroke play should be in the can and ready for whenever WGT decides to release it. Many of us thought we would have PB by now but apparently PB is on hold for some reason. BTW - PB is the course for the 2019 US Open.
