Please help

  Hi all

  I am desperate for some help, I have been playing for over 2 years without any issues that I am now been experiencing for the last few months and can not work out what is going on, Below is a list of such issues.

  1/ On my second shot to the green I am given a club by wgt to hit into the green but the yardages do not add up so I will drop a club and end up 5 to 10 yards short of the flag but if I use the selected club offered by wgt it goes 5 to 10 yards past the flag so cannot get the right club to use.

  2/ I have also come across no forgiveness on my clubs anymore, when I drive in cross wind 1-3 and I miss the ding by 1 mm I will always end up in the heavy rough and cant understand  as this never used to happen before and I am aiming the driver down the center of the fairway.

  I am a tour master and just finished a round in competition on st Andrews -14 but these issues seem to happen when I am playing a friend for fun and not competition I was wondering does any other players have these problems and a solution.

  1. clubs given by the caddie, as just an idea as you know, so you would have to adjust it. then you can adjust spin + power. we rarely hit full power shot or with full spin

  2. sometimes it's due to not having confidence. i also know that I mostly hit late, so I aimed early left to compensate for that.

  I think you probably know all this but it never hurts to go back and start from basic and to retool our swing so to say?

  As a TM of 61.x average, short of Legend tier, me thinks that you are complaining on a very elevated level.

  What should I say, still waiting to shoot that precious 58 on STA...
