    Here is answer: SAFARI

Many suggestions are posted here but my conclusion is : Apple Safari. It make WGT meter speed smooth like silk & no longer jumping anymore.

    - Maxthon: too slow & meter jump

    - Explore: too slow & not smooth.

    - Firefox: slow enough but not smooth.

-Chrome: smooth but fast & sometime jump.

-Safari: slow enough & smooth like silk. (with any balls: Nike or Calla 2.5)

1 year ago i faced big problem with meter slutts & jumping & i was out of this site 6 months with out any round in that time. Too tired of meter problems. Now i am back & try Safari it like night & days with my game. Confidence came back, good scores & can compete in highest standards of this game elites. That is my 4 year conclusion. Hope it help some Wgt players are finding meter smooth solution.

Notes: Always keep your PC cool. If not it effect meter extremedously. And use PC better than laptop as it cooler.

*Now i am not playing this game as much as in the past. I am playing Chiness Chess in my free time :) Anyone love it can send me friends invite & we meet in the Chiness Chess table :).

a BIG +1.....For me chrome & maxthon are smooth, but both browsers hesitate near the ding and cause a miss to the right of the ding.....

Safari is both stable, smooth, and reacts when you click!...the best for me

PS: my avatar name had nothing to do with safari browser ::))..

I find that using Maxthon 3 to be best for me...All the other browsers mentioned above for some reason when I click mouse to hit ding,it ALWAYS runs a quarter inch past ding...drives me insane, plus I like Maxthons screen size for my laptop!

A browser that is definitely worth a look is Avant Browser.

Very very smooth meter (for me) and also have the added bonus of being able to "detach" the gameclient tab, then maximize the detached tab giving you effectively a full screen browser window where you can still use the chat function.

Also, the browser has three Rendering Engines built-in: Trident, Gecko and Webkit, the engines behind Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome respectively.

This means you can chose which RE you want to use, either IE, Firefox or Google Chrome.

I have been using Google Chrome's engine and that has been very good so far. Am testing the Firefox engine at the moment and also seems very good.

My old pc windows 7, maxthion 3 was perfect, and a nice full screen.  New pc, windows 8.1, maxthion 3 only okay, switched to comodo dragon everything was good!

An infection got into my computer, ruined comodo - maxthion - i.e - google chrome!  Had it cleaned up, went to maxthion cloud, everything perfect!

just posted a -5 on bethpage black, front 9.  I think it's the best score since i have owned this pc, 8 months!  hope it helps, i never jump browers unless they are unplayable.  My nickle

    1enigma1:

Has any1 upgraded from Maxthon cloud to Maxthon*s  MxNitro?

Tried it once and got rid of it . It wasnt stable with the game . Meter was very lousy .I use Maxthon Cloud it works best for me . Opera is also a good browser as well . You can search " best browsers " for your system and get a list to try out , its what I did .

But the bottom line is there is no perfect browser because every system is different . Once you take into account the various types of processors , programs ie. windows , windows 7, windows 8 or 8.1 and so forth . So the effectiveness of the browsers will differ .
