I understand how it used to be, where if anything except a driver was used off the tee, it wouldn't record that as a FIR, regardless of where the ball landed. I believe that had been fixed at one time, but now it seems to be back, and it also seems to include par 3 holes. I can hit every fairway, even using a driver, but if there are 2 par 3 holes on the 9, I'll end up with a 78% FIR for that round. I just noticed this happening within the last week.

Can someone check into this please? Thank you.

No "Fairway hit" on Par3s, no change to this respect.

On Par4s and Par5s, driving accuracy (fairway hits) is counted regardless of the club, but "driving length" stats (longest drive, average length) are limited to use of Driver.

I can't confirm this, the "missed FW" which is inevitable on Par3s has no effect.

Here's a card showing I hit every fairway, except the par 3 holes:

And here's the page for my driving stats:

I used a driver on all 7 holes, so I know that's not the issue. If it's not the par 3 holes counting against me, then I have no idea what else it could be.

    I appreciate the response, nonetheless.

The other day on Cabo fr 9 I hit every green including 2 par 3's, drove the green on #3, used my 3wd on #8 but hit the fairway...I missed #5 fairway by an inch in the 1st cut...my FIR% for the round was 40some% so I must have missed 5 of them...LOL

Most of the time it is right but not always

    (7 / 7 FW hit, yet 86% accuracy)

That's a precise example, thank you! Check marks and number say that you hit all 7 fairways but it calculates that you missed one of them, counting 6/7 = 85.7% accuracy => an error IMHO.

    It's not the Par3s because the numbers would be different, 7/9 = 77,7% or 8/9 = 88.8%. (7/8 = 87.5%).

Me thinks that we have been chasing this error before but found no explanation.

If you manage to play the same tee shots again, hitting fairways and greens, you might see the difference when checking the driving stats after each hole.

To me, it's just another flaw, but I am not too keen for the stats...

You are better players than I am, please explain WTH FIR is and why it's important in WGT.

The only stat worth noting, is your final score

Would you like 100 percent stats and post up a 69, or 50  percent fairways, etc...and post a 59?

Actually I would like 90+% GIR, 70% 1 putts, and a 8ft from pin avg distance and shoot 54's...50% fairways won't get ya many 59's anyway   lol

I did just that, and I figured out what the issue is (paying attention, WGT?).

I started a new work schedule, so I begin a game before I leave for work to get the club pass countdown going. That way, when I get home, I can finish the round, and I only have a couple hours to wait before the next club pass becomes available.

The issue is that the FIR (and GIR) stat isn't saved until after the entire hole has been completed. So when I hit my tee shot, I'll save it, and when I come back to finish, the game isn't remembering that I already hit the fairway before I saved the game.

I'm not sure if the GIR stat works (or rather, doesn't work) the same, but it doesn't record until after the hole has been completed either, so I imagine it would be the same.

I appreciate your help, alosso. I know now to finish a hole before I save the game, at least until they fix the problem... if ever.
