Looks like it's open now at last. Shoe must have set it for the Monday night finish instead of Sunday. Two scores already in for R2...

    Good luck everyone!

And a WD! Many apologies Corwyn, I hate WD'ing when you guys put in so much effort setting it up. Made a stupid mistake with a 5 inch tap in - 300ft meter! Shot off the green, into unplayable lie. All my own fault - was moving the mouse wheel to see if my inter CC opponent had turned up lol.

Gutted - was going along nicely. Lost my rag a bit after that!

But thanks for all the effort you put in - great tourny and look forward to the next one.

    Good luck to all. :)

Triple in headwind at #9 (where I wasn't able to carry to the fw and the only landing area was the 60/70 brush :( ) killed my round, as well as the quite masochistic call at #15, where I tried to bump among the bunkers (with a clear epic fail :) ).

The only ray of light was the second shot at #8, a "links approved" one. :D

Btw: TYVM Corwyn, I scored +18 and I had great fun anyway.

A little bit of practice yesterday helped to figure out few things, especially with the putter (Thanks Weso!)

Overall, I've played too defensive which is rare for me. A huge mistake on the 2nd green where I forgot to change the scale of my putter, a promised bogey at best with a tee shot under the wind and a 2nd shot from the the high stuff, 2 missed opportunities for birdies with putts under 10ft, and another huge mistake at 18th where I played my approach defensively and too aggressive around the green which cost me to save par and finish the back 9 under par.

Not a bad round, but it could have been way better since winds were not too bad from the tee boxes. Have fun all!

Thanks again Cerino and Corwyn for this fun event!!!

Great tourney as always when TIO is up. Thanks guys!

Second round started like a bad nighmare and i was close to just close my browser and do something else but i pulled myself together and got something that looks like a score.

And i found an interesting bunker at hole 4. What ever you do, stay away! A woodenbox style bunker, very tough to get out from as my 7 on that hole will tell.

i played better on R2, starter putter killed me in R1 so im happy as i broke 80, only one birdy this time, a nice 43.2ft. hopefully that might get a prize if there is a prize for longest birdie putt

Started poorly with 2 double bogeys, but steadied a little to finish with 78, one worse than my opening round.   Still, my first time trying this & I thoroughly enjoyed the challenge.

Thanks for the tournament Corwyn, looking forward to the next one.

Looks like I am consistently bad - my chipping is the worst, driving and putting were  better.  Still was fun while it lasted.  Thanks for setting this up, Corwyn (et al.)

    round 2 tio

was expecting a better round with a chance to practice and get a better feel for clubs and putting, but mostly headwinds and bad short game was my undoing, couldn't reach fairway from tees on 9 &10, and couldn't reach a hand full of greens in reg.

Thanks to a practice round with fredsf yesterday and some much less penal winds than I had in the first round (when I was unable to reach 4 of the first 9 holes in regulation and basically tanked the back 9) today I managed a 74 with no double bogeys, and actually made a birdie on 16. woo hoo.

(Looks like you always beat me when it counts, Fred. Nice round.)

An interesting test, but I wouldn't want to play in these conditions very often.

    Thanks for setting it up.

    Dave
