Championship 14, Green speed

  Just played the BOP5 backnine uneven lies. Green speed was 14. The first time I see that. Is this the one of the 2 new speeds that came a few weeks ago? (I know its not Ultra at 40, but havent tried the other). But a nice, funny and need to think speed to Play

  Nope, it must be an elevation of Championship (13).

  The new CC speeds are 2 and 4, 20 and 40, more on the ridiculous side. Alas, the extra and ultra fast ones are good fun in special situations, e.g. the putting CTTH ;)

  14 I can kind of see at certain courses, and that par 5 qualifies as a sensible place to try that I can see I think.

  Hopefully some whizz does not start applying it at Merion 9 B9 though, which would just be silly.

  Ahh yes!!!   The realism of 40 speed greens makes this game so much more realistic, and  I'm sure the noobs mass e-mailed WGT and asked for this also.  Way to go WGT, hit another home run.

  They are messing around with the greenspeeds as usual, though i found out another new thing. Already encountered 2 tournaments where the greenspeed given is not the same as the greenspeed mentioned

  Its probably all done to make the game more realistic :-)

  They fit as well as my Cat's pants do......You ever seen cats not dig the fit of their pants that used to fit? WELL I"LL TELL YOU THIS........THEY LOOK FUNNY GETTIN' USED TO THOSE PANTS......THEY HISS AND SCRATCH AND I SELL OLD PANTS FOR CHEAP.

  14 not that bad anywhere...

  A few courses where you can dump it below  for a par and...

  let ya opponent go 3 past..then 3 past you again from uphill !!  lol

  All holes are par -able with that speed...it's the Icon crazy speeds that make some impossible ! ;-))

  Andy ( pin hit is not always best believer )

  Edit:-  tho I do see the undercurrent......

  Realistic it is not !

  Can be fun though ??

  They already had a 13.5 a few months ago at Whistler. The vid is in my blog posts somewhere. Even on those bonkers greens, and having never seen that speed before, it was still perfectly playable.
