I was -4 going into 13th St Andrews, in ready go ,game playing o.k, but of course i was counting my chickens before my eggs hatched because then a nice meter skip, instead of near ding where i had pressed, it decided not to stop, but continue going untill after draw box, "another fine slice you've got me into WGT"..Words from Stanley Laurel, sorry, OLIVER HARDY, as ready go's are as comical in the inconsistencies  you see.  Having recovered from out of bounds, the wind decided not to blow (28 mph as well), making me land in bunker!, After another meter freeze and then getting to within 3 feet of hole eventually, my next putt went over hole without dropping (2nd time i've had that happen to me, and other friends have told me its happened to them aswell?) giving me a grand total of quadrouple bogey!

Next hole meter decided to go down in 4 second stages, so by then i had allready lost patience with this legal robbery and withdrew from damn tournament...

Before anyone writes in saying its my fault, or did you clear your cache ..All done, i'm just pissed at the moment because 90% of the time you loose out in paid tournaments because of no fault of your own..bug in game or meter, so i'm just letting off steam to stop me going out and beating up my nearest parking meter, because i've had it with damn METERS!

(since writing this i've decided to enter a FREE tournament, and what do you know?, the game is SO CONSISTANT, every shot goes exactly to PLAN!)..Pity Ready go's were not the same.

Soooo been there, Chris. You find a groove and you're cruising along and when you least expect it-BANG- you're hosed. It isn't as much the incident as my reaction and subsequent distrust of the meter. Groove gone so you have to salvage what you can but you can't help but think about how ridiculously unfair it is that you got beat by something out of your control. It usually affects me to the point of just whacking away in a fit of pique without thinking. I guess I'm only screwing myself that way but it goes away after a few holes.

The sick thing is this happens IRL and there's no meter to blame.  :-(

Question is: When are you going to stop playing RG's? It's a waste of credits as you have said :)

Just giving you the solution.... I'm not saying you're paranoid, no, no, no ;I)

    Agreed...

Chris... clearing caches IS a BS response from the powers that be...they know the meter is far from correct.  However, with that said...i think you have finally come to a great realization...STOP PLAYING FOR $$$ IF YOU DON'T LIKE HOW THE GAME IS!!!!!!!!!!!!! For god sakes you've been crying about the meter since you started posting...we all know from time to time the meter burns us...and whether or not it happens more when $$$ is on the line seems to be a conspiracy theory at best... Seriously stop playing...or at least stop posting every time you have a round going and get spiked by the meter gods...it happens to us all...WGT is not going to give you any credits back or adjust your scores or fix the thing any faster based on the amount of times you feel you've been cheated...Every time you fill the forums with another one of your tear soaked posts about how you lost credits because of the meter, 2 things happen...The first being you have wasted an opportunity to instead send WGT an email directly, which IMO would be a better avenue...If everyone sent them an email rather than posting a thread every time the meter jumped...they would have a billion emails to go through and would be more apt to fix the thing... Secondly, with each post you write or thread you start about the exact same problem you appear less intelligent...i know i've said it to myself more than once "if this guy keeps getting screwed by his meter, then why does he keep putting $$$ on the line???" im sure im not the only one thinking it...This is the definition of insanity...Doing the same thing over and over, but expecting different results...This is why all of your $$$ losses ARE your fault.

LOL - you've taken it way over the top now with your complaints. You are aware that these things happen to everybody. I have been kicked out of mpc's that i was leading, withdrawn from four rgs in the past week due to game issues - this stuff happens. Listen mate, WGT is not out to get you.

Sorry chris' not being nit-picky, but you erred on your qoute?...... Oliver Hardy was the one who said those famous lines "another fine mess you got me into" in the infamous Laurel and Hardy comedy series.

A little incouragement in response to your post, "been there, did that". All (not most) all players who play RG's have experienced that frustration!..........noticed meter spikes and/or inconsistances have been more frequent since saturday.

If all of us DID stop posting it would be ignoring the problem, letting it get swept under the carpet, hopefully in the end WGT will get so pissed with post after post of meter complaints from the vast users might force them to try and solve issue and not hope it goes away magicaly.

"if this guy keeps getting screwed by his meter, then why does he keep putting $$ on the line???"

Because the winnings we get can't be turned from credits to cash, so the credits i have i must waste on this site by getting new ballls or WASTING them in ready go's, (but i usually make money not loose money)

But thanks for your concern about my finances anyway, if i ever need a financial advisor i'll let you know.
