I am looking at the MAX Meter Full Set (L95+)

However, is it possible to sell back the hybrid so I can still have 3 wedges?

Yes you can sell back clubs through the pro shop.  Only clubs restricted from selling back are starter equipment.

If it helps, I used those irons for a about a year..loved them too. I did find the 215 three iron wanting at times and added the hybrid and it was helpful on certain holes and wind situations.  ~ SP ~

Thanks for your comments, wanted confirmation I could sell back 1 club frim a bundled deal.

Guess I will wait for a free rental weekend and try them. out, hybrid does look good on paper, and see if I can do without 100yd wedge.

Currently using Nike v-forged lvl85, but want something with a slower meter speed.

That meter is also the only selling point too.  A couple levels later is a set that's far superior in every feasible way, expect meter speed.

IMO you can do without the HB. You're at the driver/wedge stage of your progress-you can drive to a wedge on most holes from those tees with a decent driver. Think about carrying 4 wedges until you get to Legend.

I never owned a 3W until I made Legend and that was way before any of the really good clubs now- R11 driver, High loft clubs and 4 Satins (now the ATV's.) Use your time as a TM to learn the 5 shots with each wedge and you'll have 20 different shots just in those 4 wedges.

Off the tee you'll be using your 6-PW for your second shot most of the time and carrying a HB is just going to afford you an occasional eagle putt whereas that 4th wedge will get used a lot more. Then when you get to Legend and have to play from the longer tees you'll be ready to drop that 4th wedge for a decent 3W.   :-)

If you are used to the slightly faster meter of the Nike irons the slower meter of the Max might hurt you more than it helps.
