IT WOULD BE VERY NICE IF WGT COULD ARRANGE AN ALARM TO GO OFF WHEN WE ARE INVITED TO A GAME. SOMETIMES, I DOZE OFF WHILE WAITING FOR AN INVITE AND OFTEN MISS THEM. THIS WAY, IT WOULD JAR  ME AWAKE

This has been suggested in at least a dozen posts (3 or 4 by myself). I keep receiving answers that their is such a provision, I sure haven't seen it.

Another thing that might help, especially for us "older" people, especially us with limited vision is put the invite and timer on the bottom of the screen. Your eyes are focused on the bottom of the screen with the ding line, so your not concentrating on the top of the screen.

You may laugh, but wait till your old, only one eye , poor vision in the other,  and than see how hard your laughing.

The only  "" ALARM "" when an invite comes in is a very short quiet ding like noise ,,,          at least thats all I hear,,,sometimes,,,  as I am a tad hard of hearing,  and if engrossed in forums etc is not very noticible, especially if reading towards the bottom of a page and the invite box is not in view. so perhaps Jiggsies idea of showing an invite box at the bottom of the page isnt a bad one ??

Try Maxthon in split screen mode, you can trudge through the forums, or any webpage for that matter, in one half of the screen and keep the friends/invite bit visible in the other half waiting for invites (currently borked!).
