You must know you're losing money and making your customer very angry!  I haven't been able to invite my friends for several days now!  When will you take care of this?

Just another post gerry to go with all the others on this subject. WGT will get a man right on it, Promise, Really as soon as they realize there is a problem. They are un aware at the moment, due to trying to figure out what price to charge for the new wedges they have to offer to compensate for the changes in the rough. My theory only. I'm sure they have called and emergency, all hands on deck meeting with the most brilliant engineers and programmers in the gaming industry. This will be corrected post haste, if not sooner, or later, or what not and so forth.

These guys come into WGT headquarters and zap the employees every day it seems. How else could they go for 6 weeks straight and still ask the same stupid questions over and over and act like they just heard of it ? Its not like it's a new problem here dudes......It's an old one that has 1000's of customers pi$$ed off. There must be someone on the planet who can figure this mess out and fix it !  Find him or her.... pay them well and let them solve the issues that your current staff obviously can not.

Well I will give credit where it is due - well done Admin for manning up. A little late to the party but better late than never.

What worries me is the seemingly endless problems cropping up, some old issues, some new.

It does not instill confidence into the future. Has the game passed it's best before date on this platform?

There's the problem, in a roundabout way.  I'd bet my last dollar that it isn't the update with the new rough dynamics that led to the connection problems, it's the introduction of the mobile game on Android. Integrating another platform into the game undoubtedly requires changes to the preexisting multiplayer architecture.

The upside is that we now know that WGT can use it's assets (photos, terrain, physics) on another platform.  The mobile game feels different, but it's all on the surface really.  The clubs, balls, wind, and greens all behave exactly the same on Android.

The really good news is that they should be able to transition away from Flash gradually - that is, they can build on Unity (or something else), then roll out an improved game on a platform with a future, without needing to wipe out our accounts.  Then they can allow as much time as needed for the players to adopt the new game.

    Good luck to them.

Those that try are sure to fail and will quit quickly in disgust.

Well I am astonished Ben, I did not think anyone would pick up on that.

Not that I have tried the Android version, and although I use a Note, gaming on a phone has no interest to me personally. I fear the reason for the sudden increase in problems is directly related - hence a conflict in the two systems.

I agree there is an upside, and moving away from flash is happening and is required for the longevity of the game. I am no programmer but I have been exposed to various systems and software in my time but know flash is old technology and has limitations.

OTE said in another thread, this game must evolve, and I agree, but will only really do so when the platform will allow it to.

I am not convinced (well I have no faith) that WGT really knows what direction it is headed. Perhaps they are just waiting to announce a major change.......but I will not hold my breath.
