       As i'm feeling the need to give I found/modified a neat explanation of basic ballistic theory for all your clubs new members

  The concept is fine, but it's the understanding of how to calculate the required club & distance/power that is missing. I think that it is fairly well understood that a golf ball's flight (subject to the mfg's 'dimples') describes a parabola in flight. The question is "OK, so ....."?

  So i add 1 per 3 for elevation and take off 1 per 6 for declination, the thing is the ball hits the ground sooner when approaching an elevation and i dont really know what i'm talking about

  But WGT makes the rules of their physical world, you dont have a concept of three dimensional space, its NOT real

  Here is a quote from over 2 years ago :- 

  Just taking the elevation distance from where you are to the hole is not enough, you need to know where that elevation occurs. CCC #4 is a perfect example. An approach of 195 yards, or so, would normally use a 5 iron (R11-195 yds) but that will only carry about 185 and there's no room for it to roll because the elevation (trap) is in the way and you fall short.

  Picture the arc of the shot in your mind and then determine how the elevation interrupts it.
