Problem on Best of Par4 RG ( #75889)

  " WGT is having problems loading an asset.

  This is usually because of an Internet connectivity issue.

  Thats the message i got, when i tried to Tee-Off for the BOP4 RG.  500cr  ,  0 scores posted.

  Now i'm stuck, and not able to play anything, unless i forfiet that tournament..  

   

  So is that the way WGT will make money now ???   Not letting anyone tee-off..  and take their credits..

  Is this the 'IO Error' thing?

  I had the same exact problem when I tried to play the 50 credit BOP3. I cleared cache and everything.

  Yep the same " IO Error " 

  Its got nothing to do with clearing cache..  Since , 40 ppl entered, and 0 scores were posted, means,  No one was able to post a score..  hence its a fault on WGT's part

  Now since its a 500cr RG, i dont want to forfiet.

  Guess its the same with all the RG's they created, since you had a problem with BOP3 one too.

  I'm pretty sure, when all 50 will enter, you will be able to see the leaderboard, and most will be WD's.

  Yeah this is a serious issue... I wouldn't forfeit either. Any replies from an admin to let us know what's going on would be appreciated.

  Why do you automatically assume it is a scam?

  The WGT system is so fragile at the moment anything can fail. Personally I think they need to wind back to previous version, of at least a few months ago. This game is broken at the moment but I do not think it is a scam.

  Contact CS to get your money back.

  I think he means scam in the sense that WGT are letting these things happen, without any due care and consideration for its' paying customer base.

   

  Right now these forums are just full of reported problems. In over 4 years here, ain't seen anything like it.

   

  And more than likely WGT are wasting resources planning the next Clash Event.

  Amen to that. This site is falling apart at the seams. Hire and pay some tech people that know that they are doing! WGT, you've got an ATM here and you're wrecking it!

  If anyone entered and was not able to play, email customer service and they can issue refunds.

  No offence dbloshoe but wouldn't the better customer service be that instead of all the members having to email CS for the 2 faulty RG's to get a refund that rather WGT can see quite easily who has entered and just automatically refund us?

  Thx dbloshoe   advice taken.

  Include  RG75897  with same  asset load IO ERROR

  cache clear & multiple browsers  including IE8  had no success penetrating this error condition.
