I decided to spend some time trying to figure out how far to hit from the new rough changes in a practice game like i did when i was a pro. I hit from all different yardages with my ATV top level wedges and have figured out 40-50% rough is more like 25% give or take 5% from 20 yards to 100 yards out using a full backspin full shot with low winds, lol. Can anyone tell me how much i need to add from 40-50% rough from all yardages(every 10 yards will do)??????? I used to add 15 yards on a full backspin full shot from 30-50 yards out in 40-50% rough, now that is 8 or 9 yards too far. I have noticed from 140 yards out that adding 40 yards full backspin full shot no longer works as well. It is more like adding 20-25 yards to the shot now. And if there are any changes to the  20-25% or 30-40% roughs, i may need help with those too. Please help a legend find his way again!!!!  TY

Here's what I've been working with. Seems fairly accurate, keeping in mind that flyers can still happen.

    20/30 - 1.03

    25/35 - 1.07

    30/40 - 1.12

    40/50 - 1.23

    Full shot/full backspin? punch/full backspin?

    Thanks,

There s no spin, that is the whole point.

You have to gauge the run out from those different lies, and then factor in the inconsistency that will undoubtedly occur.

Doesn't matter. Just up the power for whatever shot it is over normal. I'm still working on it, but it's a starting place.

Indeed. Pretty important to take advantage of the front - back dots that are now available.

D'oh!  Never even occurred to me to use them on pitches and chips with the new conditions. TYVM for pointing that out.  :-)

    LOL.

Happy to help. I just love seeing that I'm hitting into a backstop.
