Hi
If WGT totally screwed up the game, HOW COME TOUR LEGENDS STILL ARE ABLE
TO SHOOT 25-26-27 on 9 holes and 54-55-56 on 18 holes??

I'd love to see them make the game so that great players would not routinely shoot those numbers...that's not replicating real golf, which after all, is the goal of a golf simulation, right? Maybe a bit of unpredictability would actually improve the game? Look at how often in real golf a player will miss a 8-10 foot or so putt, and an announcer will say the ball just doesn't break the way the players think it will, etc.
It's not easy to create a golf game that new players will find playable, at least so they can quickly be hitting balls down the fairway, etc., then as they master the finer points, gradually get better and better - but at the same time still make a game that will still appeal to expert players too.
Let's remember (apparently) that's what brought on the changes to the rough in the first place - WGT themselves said they wanted to make it a little easier for players to hit out of the rough, and the players most often in the rough (particularly the deep rough) are newer players.
Anyway, all these different comments about the dot speed are confusing me now. They seem to be back to normal to me...at least now I'm missing putts like I used to - based on bad reads/hits, not dot speed lol.
