Idiots2:
Sorry, I thought I read in your previous post that you did not serve, so I take that comment back. You had 2 yrs and some combat, I thank you for that. No I did not see combat, but spent some time in combat areas; yes, it was aboard ship and it was no picnic.
How about I just take your word concerning your Hispanic friend and just let it go at that.
Yes, I do have a problem with immigration; it is killing my ability to support my family and their needs so if I lash out at Hispanic/Latinos it is because of the huge illegal population that drains my social security benefits, raises my medical insurance, as well as drains the funds available for housing assistance and many other programs that could help my family.
Your friend may be one of the few my anger is not directed towards, but some of his/her comments really hit a nerve.
No additional posts necessary
Naw...you were directing your response at me.
I'm going to tell you what you are..in your mind, you may not know this...but you feel you are "entitled".
Why?
Well you went to war, you fought the great battle, etc, etc.
You're not entitled to spout your rubbish here...plain and simple.
Ya...after I get done with this last 3 grams of coke...ooooohh...okay, done now.
You may think that because you were on a ship, sailing here and there, took fire...you hav e"lived the life", and now know it all.
So bad too sad.
Betting you didn't grow in in an agriculture area, did you?
Who (you should know) was the President that instituted welfare?...well...welfare was alive and kicking as I was a young man in the the 60's...we had 40 acres of grapes, surrounded by Walnut trees.
My grandmother gave up on trying to hire local folks ...you know the kind..the upstanding white folk (yes, I am white) to get a job picking grapes, pruning them, knocking walnuts etc...why couldn't she get them to work?...well...pay was not much more than what welfare was giving them...plus, they had to go out in 90 plus degree heat and earn it.
Now...who's left?...ya...Illegals that would come over seasonally...work their azzes off and do the work that no self respecting Caucasian on welfare would do.
You know all that lettuce you ate as a kid?...the peaches your mom sliced up for you...etc, etc?...who do you think was at the start of getting them to your table?
Oh..my silver spoon...yes, Cletrac tractors a Farmal cub and..aww...never mind, wasted enough time here with you.
Hmmn...Marie Antoinette comes to mind....
